Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. 412) 751-5000, Drew J. Gilbert, director. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friady in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Lori Walters, officiating. Private inurnment will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum, Elizabeth Township.

Ruth was a kind and wonderful lady. I worked for her for about 4 years. I enjoyed taking care of her wonderful boys. My heart really goes out to the family, especially her boys. Her love for them was so moving. I am deeply saddened. I have thought about giving her a call in the past few months. I wish I would have. Rest dear lady. Love Andrea

Ruth cared for my kids at Greenock United Methodist Church as well as many of the communities children for many many years. She always treated children as a gift from God to be mentored, cared for, and loved even when they werent easy..... She took my kids to camp many times and guided them in youth group and I appreciate so much her work here as one of Gods true angels on earth. She will now be, no doubt, an angel in heaven

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth Anns passing . I will remember her being such a kind person and one of my first friends when we made the merge from elementary school to junior high as classmates in the Class of 73. She will be missed by many. My sincere sympathy and prayers to her family .

My condolences to Mrs.Santory's family and friends. She was my homeroom and math teacher in 6th grade (around 1999). She was also one of my favorite teachers at the middle school, she was one of those teachers that actually made a difference in her students' lives. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.
