Andrew Kosko Obituary

Andrew Kokso, 97, formerly of McKeesport, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at his residence in Baldwin Township. He was born Aug. 5, 1907, in Munchick to the late Andre and Pauline Grychick Kosko and was the husband of the late Ann Kosko and brother of the late Mary Sedlak, Helen Boehm and Michael, Joseph and John Kosko. Mr. Kosko was a World War II Army veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, a retired coffee grinder for the A&P Coffee Co. and a member of St. Martin de Porres Parish, McKeesport. Surviving are sister Ann Malone, of Kansas, formerly of Pittsburgh; nephew, Deacon Joseph (Rachel) Kosko, with whom he resided, and many nieces and other nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Church, McKeesport. Interment with military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue. www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
