Brian Murdoch Obituary

Brian "D-Day""Red" Murdoch, 60, of Peters, died Sunday, May 15, 2005. Beloved husband of Linda Murdoch (Bennett). Loving father of Michael (Maria) Murdoch and Timothy (Kathryn) Murdoch. Pap-pap of Brianna, Gabriella, Michael and Reagan. Brother of Buckley and the late Robert and William. Brian was past commander of the VFW and American Legion of Bridgeville. He also served in the Army Special Forces from 1967 to 1969, and was a loyal and devoted employee and fan to Peters Township School District. Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, Peters, where service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Internment in Woodruff Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 250 Mt. Lebanon Blvd., Suite 203, Pittsburgh, PA 15234, 412-572-8800.
