Carol Ann Gyduska, of West Mifflin, fought a courageous battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma since August 2007. She passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008. Beloved wife of John G. Gyduska, whom she married Aug. 24, 1966. Mother of James F. (Tracy) Cain, of West Mifflin, Scott W. (Carrie) Cain, of Ira, Mich., and Lori A. (Jim) Wagner, of Eighty-Four. Grandmother of Jimmy Cain, of Monongahela, Jessica Beiter, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Tina Cain, of West Mifflin, Jennifer Neumayer, of Roseville, Mich., John Cain, of Algonac, Mich., and Mackenzie Wagner, of Eight-Four; also seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank L. and Florence I. (Dean) Lloyd; and a sister, Barbara J. Lech. She graduated from McKeesport High School in 1955. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Glassport and was a former deacon. She was a former volunteer at what is now known as the Long Run Children's Learning Center, formerly the McKeesport Pre-School for Exceptional Children, when it was located in Boston, Pa. She retired from West Mifflin Hills Department Store in 1999 after 15 years of service. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and friends in Florida at Orchard Lake Mobile Home Park and Hilja Speelman, her best friend for the last 62 years. She enjoyed being a snowbird and spending the winter months in Florida. She enjoyed crocheting and made afghans for the entire family. She loved all her children equally and did not have a favorite child. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 640 Vermont Ave., Glassport, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
