Catherine Jolliffe Obituary

Catherine "Kitty" Jolliffe, age 90, on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002 at Life Care Hospital of Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 17, 1912 in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kashbaum) Pensenstadler. She was a retired practical nurse and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, Clairton. She was also a eucharistic minister at St. Clare of Assisi; a member of Catholic Daughters of America - Court Pius #1303 of St. Clare of Assisi; St. Clare of Assisi Ladies of Charity; Clairton Anglers Club; Catholic Guild for the Blind; A.A.R.P. - Clairton Hill Chapter #2862; a volunteer for Clairton Meals on Wheels; and a member of the Blue Army of Fatima. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Dale Jolliffe; a daughter, Kay Huschak; and a son, Larry Jolliffe. She is survived by sons, Dale Jolliffe of Dover, Mass. and Richard Jolliffe of Beltsville, Md.; a daughter, Annette Anderson of Greenfield; a brother, William Pensenstadler of Glassport; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Visitation was Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, Clairton. Interment in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton. Arrangements by A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton.
