Charles Rothert Obituary

Charles E. "Chuck" Rothert, 84, of Reserve Township, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Chuck was a son of the late Albert and Sophia (Ritz) Rothert. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Kalicky) Rothert; loving father of Beverly (Steve) Berger and Darlene Rothert; dear grandfather of Kristina, Nathaniel and Nicholas; dear great-grandfather of Derek; brother of the late Alfred, Ambrose, William, Joseph, Raymond, and Margaret Rothert, Loretta Frohnapfel, Mildred Turici and Dolores Gallagher. Chuck is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Korean War veteran, who served in the Army, Chuck was a member of the VFW, Post 2754, and the Allegheny Elks, Lodge 339. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday only at HUGHES FUNERAL HOME INC., 1501 Lowrie St., Pittsburgh, (Troy Hill) PA 15212. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Most Holy Name Church, Troy Hill. Interment will be in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Ross Township.
