Domenico Sciulli Obituary

Domenico Sciulli, 77, of Aspinwall, passed away peacefully at home with family at his side Thursday, April 2, 2015. Domenico was born Aug. 26, 1937, in Gamberale, Italy, and was the son of the late Girolamo and Margherita Sciulli. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Cecilia (Nardo) Sciulli; loving father of Margherita Sciulli, Rose (Jeff) Wurzer and Girolamo "Jerry" (late Kimberly) Sciulli; cherished grandfather of Emily and Zachary Wurzer and Isabella Sciulli; brother of Antonio (Memena) Sciulli, of Italy, Nanetta (Fanello) Sciulli, of Argentina, and the late Mario (surviving wife, Almerinda) Sciulli and the late Giuseppina (late Donato) DiNardo; brother-in-law of Giuseppina (late Eugene) Nardo and Victor Nardo; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, and from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015, at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Scholastica Church, Aspinwall. Entombment will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler Township.
