Douglas James "D.J." Williamson, 24, of Cranberry, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 27, 2007. Born March 17, 1983, in Euclid, Ohio, he was the son of Douglas P. and Susan Fischer Williamson, of Zelienople. He was a 2001 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and was completing his degree in inter-disciplinary studies at West Virginia University. D.J. cherished spending time with his family and friends. His Boston Terrier, "Zeke", had become like a son to him which made everyone laugh as they adopted Zeke into their circle of friends. D.J. had a personality that was a magnet which drew people to him. He had a warm and welcoming smile and an infectious laugh that people wanted to be near. His unique quality of devotion to detail and his desire to do a job well done made him appreciated by all those he worked for and with. Precious son of Doug and Susan Williamson; cherished brother of Erin Wright and her husband, Michael, of Denver, Colo., and Megan Palm and her husband, Michael, of Pittsburgh; treasured grandson of Kathryn Fischer, of Malvern, Ohio; uncle D.J. to his first nephew, Lucas James Palm; beloved nephew and cousin, and a trusted friend to many. We will miss him so dearly on this earth but take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of our dear Savior, Jesus. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Church of Harmony, 538 Main St., Harmony, with the Rev. Peter J. Everett officiating.
