To Mary Kay and my daughter-in-law Traci and family. I know how much you loved and will miss Ed. Although I really didn't get to know him well, I do know that he loved you and your family very, very much. You have my heartfelt sympathy. God will keep him, and all of you, in the palm of His hand. Stay strong. You will meet again.

Mary Kay you know how I felt about Ed, he was one great guy. I remember when we first met him here at Spring Lakes, Mike & Helen were having a party and he was invited, he was little shy that night not knowing anyone so he stayed in the kitchen, all he talked about was how he couldn't wait until you could retire the next year and come down, he loved and missed you so much. He said you and I would be come friends as we had a lot in common with our backgrounds,he was right you are a good friend and I will always treasure our friendship. He fought a hard battle with dignity and courage, we should all look up to him. I know he and Tom are together looking down and watching over both of us.You have been a strong woman through all his pain, now you can rest.

Sorry to hear of the passing of a great guy. Fitz was my boss for the last few years of my guard time. He was a stand up guy and a good boss. He had many great motor cop stories.

Dear Mary Kay, Tracy, Ed, Howard , Kim and children
We were saddened to hear of Ed's passing. May you find comfort in remembering the man he was and his love for all of you.
Ed was in the same class as I at the academy, we often spoke about sports. As we retired, and both eventually moved to Florida, it was always nice to spend time with Mary Kay and him. Please know that you are in Christine's and my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely Robert and Christine Schaeffer
