Elizabeth Cronen Obituary

Elizabeth M. (Maser) Cronen, 87, of Allison Park, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, in UPMC Passavant, McCandless. She was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Pittsburgh to the late Charles F. and Margaret (Koldusky) Maser and also was predeceased by her husband, William H. Cronen, and sister Margaret Packer. Elizabeth was a volunteer in the business office of UPMC Passavant from 1976 to 2005 and had more than 13,000 hours of service there. She was a member of St. Richard Church, Richland, and a former member of St. Ursula Church and the churches' Christian Mothers. Surviving are children Carolyn (Richard) Voll, of Pine, Rachel Cronen, of West Deer, and William L. Cronen, of Etna; grandchildren Elizabeth, Susan and Steven Voll and Loni Lee Cronen; sisters Thelma Leicher and Ruth Maser, of Pittsburgh, and brother Robert Maser, of California. Friends received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Hampton. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Richard Church, 3841 Dickey Road, followed by interment in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or Animal Friends, 2646 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. www.kingfuneralhome.com
