Frank Lokmer Obituary

Frank J. Lokmer, 90, of West Mifflin, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was the son of the late Micke and Catherine (Prse) Lokmer. He was the husband of the late Rose (Salopek) Lokmer. Frank is survived by his sons, Frank J. (Kathy) Lokmer Jr., of Weirton, W.Va., and John M. Lokmer, of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Sharon Kelley and Sean (Tricia) Lokmer; great-grandchildren, Patricia Lokmer and Teague Kelley. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Rudolph Lokmer. Frank was retired as a unit manager, for 42 years, from Westinghouse AirBrake. He was a member of Christ the Light of the Word Parish, where he was a member of their Men's Club and was an usher and was also a former church council member. He was a member and past president of the American Croation Club, past member of St. Vincent DePaul Society and Holy Name Society, and served in the Army Airforce. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at TEICHART-GRACAN FUNERAL HOME, Duquesne. A funeral blessing will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at Holy Name Church with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino. Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery.
