Henry Molitor Obituary

Henry R. "Hank" Molitor, 63, of Ross died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, in Forbes Hospice. He was born Sept. 21, 1940, in Leetsdale to the late Henry R. and Anna Molitor and also was predeceased by brother Richard D. Molitor. Hank graduated from Quaker Valley High School in 1958 and Slippery Rock University in 1962, received his master's degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1966 and taught in the North Hills School District for 31 years. After retiring, he was an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh and Community College of Allegheny County and an associate professor at La Roche College. Henry and his wife previously resided in Shallotte, N.C., where he was a teaching pro at Tiger's Eye golf course. He had passed his player's ability test in 1991 and was an avid golfer throughout his life. Beloved husband of Christine E. Molitor. Brother of Johanna (Richard) Hisey of Lititz, Arthur J. (Debra) Molitor of Acme, Albert J. Molitor of Hawaii, Jerome C. Molitor of Maryland, Thomas A. Molitor of Hopewell and Virginia (Jeffrey) Beer of Moon. Stepfather of Michael, Robert and David. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Dear friend and colleague of Don Keys. Contributions may be made to Forbes Hospice, 6655 Frankstown Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
