Israel Liebman

Israel Liebman, of Bridgeville, formerly of Pittsburgh and South Park, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008. Husband of Ruth Williamson, of Brookville. Father of Deborah Liebman, of Annapolis, Md., and Beth Zimmovan, of Upper St. Clair. Brother of Sarah Becker, of Boca Raton, Fla., and the late Abraham and Joseph Liebman. Father-in-law of David Boguslaw and Mark Zimmovan. A physicist with the U.S. Bureau of Mines, he was a veteran of the Marine Corps, serving during World War II, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a member of B'nai B'rith International. Friends will be welcomed from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the BEINHAUER-FRYER FUNERAL HOME, 430 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, 412-221-3800, with Rabbi Chuck Diamond officiating.
