James Kendall Obituary

James L. Kendall, 76, of Richland, formerly of West View and Monroeville, died Friday, May 6, 2005. Born in Pittsburgh, Oct. 6, 1928, he was the son of the late Jacob Louis and Katherine K. (Keller) Kendall. Loving father of James (Suzanne) Kendall, of Florida, Helen (Charles) Kendall-Frank, of Monroeville, Henry "Cal" (Ruth) Kendall, of Monroeville, and William (Suzanna) Kendall, of Monroeville. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. James proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime partner at Arthurs, Lestrange in Gateway Center and was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum and the Fellows Club. The family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME INC., 388 Center Ave., in West View, where service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Homewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Western PA Model Railroad Museum, 5507 Lakeside Drive, Gibsonia, PA 15044. www.schellhaas.com
