Joseph Milko Obituary

Joseph J. Milko, 77, of West Mifflin, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at UPMC Shadyside. He was born Oct. 26, 1935, in West Mifflin, a son of the late Michael and Anna (Kostelnik) Milko. He was a retired electrician from U.S. Steel, Homestead Works, and a member of St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Donna J. (Schaff) Milko; father of Kimberly Tarasi, of Apollo, James Milko, of Putney, Vt., and Greg Milko, of Dawson; grandfather of Stephen Milko, Creg Milko and Chelsea Milko; and brother of Frank Milko, of Munhall, Paul Milko, of Apollo, Anna Marie Vargo, of Apollo, Eleanor Lucas, of Pittsburgh, and Rose Spirnak, of West Mifflin. He was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Milko, Bernard Milko, Raymond Milko, Stephen Milko and Jerome Milko. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, and William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin, with the Rev. Joseph Grosko. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Mifflin. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes School, 653 St. Agnes Lane, West Mifflin, PA 15122.
