Josephine Jane Bennett, 94, of Elizabeth Township, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at home. She was born May 12, 1922, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Charles and Cecelia Victoria Suncine Mondforte. She was the wife of the late Oliver Dickson Paul Bennett Jr., who died Feb. 4, 2007. Josephine was the proprietor of the former Josephine's Beauty Shop in McKeesport. She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Michael) Mac, of Pleasant Hills, Susan (Larry) McClintock, of Canton, Ohio, and Sally (Russell) Kahler, of West Newton; sister, Mary Simco Zecchini, of West Homestead; grandchildren, Kimberly Mac, Kevin (Kelly) Mac, Sharlene (Kelly) George, Shari (Brett) Baith and Christophor (Sherry) Kahler; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Ella Mac, Devin, Taylor and Courtney Baith, Michael and Andrew George, Zackary and Joseph Kahler and Joshua Ketterman; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Paul Bennett; and sisters, Angeline Shivey, Rose Marie Mimnaugh and Minnie Balog.
