Lori Mete Mastroianni Obituary

Lori S. Mete Mastroianni, of Mt. Lebanon, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005. Beloved wife of Timothy; sister of James Mete; loving daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Crapis) Mete; niece of Mary Marino and Richard Crapis; also survived by a niece, a nephew and several cousins. Lori earned her bachelor's degree in education and her master's in counseling. She was a guidance counselor at Our Lady of Sacred Heart, a recruiter for Johnson and Wales University and most recently a guidance counselor with Manchester High School, near Richmond, Va. Lori enjoyed traveling and the culinary arts. She touched the lives of everyone around her in so many special ways. Her gentle, loving personality always reflected genuine concern for everyone. Her awareness and intelligence were apparent in her conversations, debates and philosophies. She had a constant quest to expand her knowledge. She was a vibrant, animated woman no one will ever forget. Friends welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, Peters, 724-941-3211. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Bernard Church, Mt. Lebanon. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Please add a tribute at www.woodrufffamilyservices.com.
