Mary L. Posa

Mary L. Posa, 91, of Elizabeth Township, died Friday, July 4, 2003, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Elizabeth, the daughter of the late Frank and Eugenia (Mazzano) Cordero. She was a homemaker and member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Blaine Hill Volunteer Fire Department. Mrs. Posa was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Posa, on Dec. 17, 1976. She is survived by her son Francis J. Posa Sr. and his wife Barbara of Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Francis J. Posa Jr. and Francine Huss; and two great-grandchildren, Gina and Matthew Huss. Visitation for family only will be Sunday at PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 Second St., Elizabeth. A blessing service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with the Rev. Rudolph Smoley officiating. Burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. Memorial contributions may be made to Blaine Hill Ambulance Fund, 409 Oxford Drive, Elizabeth, PA 15037.
