Peggy Madden Obituary

Peggy Ann Madden, 71, of Reserve, died Thursday, May 18, 2006. She was born March 1, 1935, in Pittsburgh to the late Washington A. and Irene (Horst) Stoehr. Peggy was a longtime coach for the North Hills High School Speech and Debate Club, former national chairman of the National Forensic League and a member of the National Forensic League Hall of Fame. Mother of Mark W. Madden, of Pittsburgh. Sister of the late Robert and Ruth Stoehr. The family will welcome friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME INC., 388 Center Ave., West View, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. H. William Dambach officiating. Interment in Allegheny County Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to the Mario Lemieux Foundation for Cancer Research, 920 Fort Duquesne Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15222. www.schellhaasfh.com.
