Richard Cunningham Obituary

Richard Cunningham, 87, of Little River, S.C., formerly of North Versailles, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015. He was born Feb. 9, 1928, in Glassport, and was the son of the late George and Olive Segar Cunningham. He was the husband of the late Anna Mae Hill Cunningham who died on July 25, 2005. He was a veteran of the Army and was awarded the Victory Medal. He was retired from WABCO in Wilmerding. He is survived by sons, Rick (Cindi), of Rockwood, and David (Patricia), of Little River, S.C.; grandchildren, David and Jennifer Cunningham, Jessica and Tommy Wrenn, Coreen and Alan Bauman, Heather and Curt Wendelboe, Alissa Cunningham and Chris Mudd; great-grandchildren, Kenton Mudd, Christopher Mudd Jr., Caytlin Cunningham, Cara Cunningham, Cali Yeager and Anna Mae Wrenn; and brother, George E. Cunningham, of Liberty Borough. Graveside services were held yesterday with military honors. Arrangements by STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION AND MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). Remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 301 Grant St., Pittsburgh, 15219.
