Rosalinda D'Orazio Obituary

Rosalinda D'Orazio, 81, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Donora, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008, after a short battle with cancer. She was born May 26, 1927, in Torre dei Passeri, Italy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grazia and Nicola DiMatteo. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Pio D'Orazio. Also surviving are her beloved children, Paul (Peggy) D'Orazio, of Massachusetts, Sue (Ed) Generazio, of Virginia, Grace (Steve) Sherman, of Jefferson Hills, and Robert (Lisa) D'Orazio, of Mt. Lebanon; sister, Velia DiPietro, of Quincy, Mass.; and two nephews, Vince and Nick DiPietro; loving grandmother of 10, Amy D'Orazio, Rose and Eddie Generazio, Nicholas, Alex, Dean and Andrew Sherman, and Michael, Vincent and Emma D'Orazio. We wish to thank Lauretta Gardner, Katie Fulton and Carol Warnes for their love and support over this last month. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas a Becket Catholic Church, 509 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills. Entombment at Mon Valley Cemetery, Donora. Visit www.jeffersonmemorial.biz. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas a Becket Church Building Fund.
