Joseph Bachofsky Obituary

Joseph "Snuffy" Bachofsky, 86, of Turtle Creek, formerly of Duquesne, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday May 25, 2012. Born in Duquesne, March 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Potoma Bachofsky. He was a retired employee of U.S. Steel, Duquesne Works, and a Korean War Army veteran. He is survived by two nieces, Micheleen Ando, of Munhall, and Eleanor Pogyor, of California; and three nephews, John Andrew Bachofsky, of White Oak, Richard Bachofsky, of Wexford, and the Rev. Kenneth Bachofsky, of Warren, Ohio. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne, where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. by his godson, the Rev. Kenneth Bachofsky. Burial will follow in McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
