Adam Mrozenski Obituary

Adam M. Mrozenski, 92, of Latrobe, died Friday, March 2, 2007, in Mercy Jeannette Hospital. Born Nov. 7, 1914, in Bradenville, he was a son of the late William and Sophia (Cackowski) Mrozenski. He was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe, St. Joseph Social Club and American Greek Club. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Latrobe Steel Company with 32 years of service. He was an avid gardener and loved to watch Latrobe High School football and baseball, Latrobe Legion baseball and Latrobe Little League. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Mrozenski; his second wife, Theora M. (Rugh) Cawoski Mrozenski; sisters, Catherine Mrozenski and Genevieve Koutsky; and brothers, Zigmont and Henry Mrozenski. He is survived by a stepson, Theodore E. Cawoski and wife, Peg, of Latrobe; three brothers, Theodore Mrozenski, of Youngstown, Pa., Thomas Mrozenski and wife, Betty, of Derry, and William Mrozenski and wife, Marge, of Latrobe; six stepgrandchildren, Theodore, Deborah, Timothy and wife, Julie, Tina and husband, Mike, Suzzette and husband, James, and Thomas and wife, Tracey; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Family Church, Latrobe. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
