Andrew Kinkella Obituary

Andrew John Kinkella III, 79, of Level Green, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, in his home. Andrew was born Nov. 1, 1943, in Braddock, the son of the late Andrew J. Kinkella II and Elway Leiding Kinkella. Andrew was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Navy. He was awarded the Purple Heart for his valor. He retired from Verizon and was a member of the Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, St. Bernadette Church, in Monroeville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Bartels. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Mirro) Kinkella; and his sons, Andrew, Jim and Joe Kinkella. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 Seventh St. (State Route 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. Parting prayers will be at 9:45 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Christ the Divine Shepherd, St. Bernadette Parish, Monroeville. Interment with military honors will follow in the New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
