Anna Pieczynski

1937 - 2025

Anna (Jankovich) Pieczynski, 88, of Trafford, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. Anna was born on Oct. 6, 1937, in Wall, the daughter of the late Nick and Anna (Blazowich) Jankovich. Anna was a member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Monroeville and the St. John Kanty Lodge #855 (Trafford Polish Club). Mom was a devoted homemaker, taking care of our family throughout the years, making memories on outdoor camping and fishing trips. She loved socializing, Steelers games, and games of chance. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin T. Pieczynski; and her siblings, George, Ralph, Milos, Daniel, and Betty Jankovich, Violet Padezan, Mildred Tarbuck, and Diane Parker. Anna is survived by her two sons, Alvin T. Pieczynski Jr. (June) and David Pieczynski (Beth); her grandchildren, Jordan (Adam), Ali (fiance Barry), and Heath (Olivia) Pieczynski; a great-grandson, Rhett Pieczynski; and her sister, Yvonne "Vonnie" Jankovich. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, in JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 7th St. (State Rt. 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. Funeral services and Pomen will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Stefan Djoric officiating. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles.
