C. Endler Obituary

C. David Endler, 64, of Trafford, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, of Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). David was born Jan. 3, 1949, in Spangler, the son of the late Clair and Elizabeth Ann Miller Endler. David graduated from Cambria Heights High School and then served in the Army from 1967 to 1970 during the Vietnam War. He continued his education from Cambria-Rowe Business College, graduating in 1972. David married Ann Moyer Endler Sept. 22, 1973, for just more than 40 years. David worked as an auto garage manager up to his illness. He enjoyed golf, landscaping, drawing and spending time with his family. David is survived by his wife, Ann; his two sons, Joseph (Arlinda) and James (Lisa) Endler; his grandchildren, Sean and Zachary Endler; a brother, Theodore Endler (Alice); a brother-in-law, Warren Angus; and many loving nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Angus. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, in St. Regis Church, 517 Homewood Ave., Trafford, with Father David Nazimek as celebrant, with military honors to follow. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. that Saturday in JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 702 7th St., (State Route 130), Trafford, 412-372-3111. The family would like to express thanks to the many caregivers from the VA in Oakland and the HJ Heinz Hospice where he passed.
