Carol L. Baldauf

Carol L. (Steele) Baldauf, 79, of Slickville, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at home. Born on Dec. 5, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Bruce Steele Sr. and Freida L. (Shirley) Steele. Carol was a 1963 graduate of Saltsburg High School. She worked as the owner/operator of Carol's Ceramics in Slickville; she also helped run the Baldauf Tree Farm in Black Lick. Carol was a member of St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church in Slickville. She enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting, and working on crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Steele Jr. Carol is survived by her husband of 42 years, Craig A. Baldauf; daughter, Stephanie B. (Dan Tack) Molyneaux of Saltsburg; sister, Colleen (Russell) Dionisi of Blairsville; granddaughter, Alexandra Molyneaux of Brookline; grandson, Shane Molyneaux of Indiana; her niece, Jennifer; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 until the hour of the blessing service at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in CURRAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC., 701 Salt St., Saltsburg, with Father John Corbett officiating.
