Charlotte V. Copeland

Charlotte V. Copeland, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Amber House, Mt. Pleasant. Charlotte was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Irwin, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Sabota. Charlotte was a member of Reunion Presbyterian Church, Mt. Pleasant, and the Women's and Ladies Circle Club of the church. She was a 1945 graduate of Ramsay High School, participating as a majorette for the school. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Gardner and husband, Bill, of Vanderbilt; grandchildren, Nicole and Mark Timperio, Ashley and Michael Goodman; and great-grandchildren, Avry and Jace Goodman, Trenton and Olivia Timperio. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. "Suds" Copeland, in 2003; her daughter, Lynn L. Copeland, in 2015; and sister, Gloria Covert. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at SALOOM-REGA FUNERAL SERVICE,730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Joshua Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
