Conrad J. Pansic

1925 - 2022

Conrad J. Pansic, 96, of Youngwood, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. He was born Jan. 28, 1925, in Greensburg, the son of the late Stephen and Anna (Adzima) Pansic. Conrad was catholic by faith and was a member of Holy Cross Church in Youngwood. He was a proud Army veteran, having served during World War II in the South Pacific. He was also a member of A&B Club and VFW Post 211, both of Youngwood. He is survived by his children, Conrad John Pansic Jr., Cathy Barncord and Linda Pansic, all of Youngwood; and his grandson, Jonathan Barncord, of Youngwood. In addition to his parents, Conrad was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred (Streno) Pansic, and his son, Ronald Pansic. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, in the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, 711 Depot St., Youngwood. Services will be officiated by Father William McGuirk. Interment will follow in the Youngwood Cemetery with funeral rites accorded by the Armbrust veterans.
