Both Dan and Ruth were social members of American Legion Post 344, the Polish Brotherhood of White Eagles, the High Park Social Club and the Ukrainian Club, all of Jeannette, and the Penn Rod & Gun Club. Ruth was born May 8, 1941, in Jeannette, a daughter of the late William and Lenora Gounder Fallas. Prior to her retirement, Ruth was employed by the former McKee Press Co., of Jeannette. Ruth also was a member of Sacred Heart Church and its Rosary Altar Society. Dan and Ruth were proud residents of Jeannette, loved by many and will be sadly missed by all. They are survived by their daughters, Linda Metz and husband, Ronald, of Jeannette, and Lori Chrisman and husband, John, of North Huntingdon; and their grandchildren, Emily, Corey, Hannah and Connor Chrisman. In addition to his parents, Daniel was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Leonard and Carl Antoniak. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Tanyer, of North Huntingdon, and Martha Bair and husband, Harry, of Jeannette. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by two brothers, William and Richard Fallas; and a sister, Ann Kuntz. They are also survived by three stepgrandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette.
