David M. Anthony

David Mark Anthony, 54, of Jeannette, died Friday, June 3, 2022. He was born Oct. 2, 1967, in Jeannette, a son of Leslie M. and Karen E. (Meneghini) Anthony, of Irwin. He worked as a customer service representative for Columbia Gas. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. David was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, neighbor and friend. He had the energy of a thousand men. He was known for cutting his grass at twilight and his lettuce and radishes that he would grow and share with his neighbors. He was good to the neighbor's dog, giving her ham and toys, and helping to retrieve her when she escaped. David enjoyed building fires with his son and playing his guitar outdoors for all to hear. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his wife, Cynthia K. (Kisinko) Anthony; his son, Brett Anthony, at home; his brother, Michael Anthony (Karen), of Irwin; two nieces; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his dog, Woody, whom he loved dearly. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Immaculate Conception Church, 308 Second St., Irwin. Private inurnment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. LEO M.
