David B. Battaglia

David B. Battaglia, 54, of Export, suddenly passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023. He was born Nov. 7, 1968, in Columbia Hospital, the son of Judith (Truschel) and the late Albert Battaglia Jr. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by father-in-law, Bill Hockenberry; mother-in-law, Pat Hockenberry; and a niece, Theresa Sager. David will deeply be missed by his wife of 30 years, Yvette (Hockenberry) Battaglia; children, Albert Battaglia, David "Brian" (Veronica) Battaglia, and Brianna (LeeMichael Samulski); a sister, Kelly (Ralph) Sager; and a nephew, Jesse Sager. He worked as a quality manager at Q.M.P, and in his free time, David enjoyed doing many things, including fishing, boating, traveling and especially, going to the beach. Most importantly, he cherished every minute he could with his family. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, PA, 724-468-1177.
