I moved to Monroeville in 1981 and Dave (who I called Hal for over 40 years) became my first friend in this new area. We played a lot of golf and together. Me and other friends stuck the name Hal on him as we were playing a 4 ball golf tournament and he choose Hal Sutton as his pro name. From that point on almost everyone on the golf side of friends called him Hal.
My wife and I will miss him greatly. We had so much fun with him and Lois on the many trips and cruises we took. I have so many Dave (Hal) stories in my head. A true friend.
