In Loving Memory of David Andrew Harchuck, 76, of Murrysville, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on Nov. 7, 2025. He lived his life as a powerful presence, never shy or quiet, and always driven to succeed. Born and raised in Monroeville to John and Mary Harchuck, he worked his way through college, married his high school sweetheart, and balanced multiple jobs at a time as a young man. His creativity and artistic eye fueled his early beginnings in art history education, but quickly, his spirited, high-octane personality led him to the world of construction, sales, and management. After working in the industry for years, he put his heart, soul, and every penny he had into founding his own construction business. David's entrepreneurial creativity and strong work ethic, combined with his grit, tenacity, and artistry, helped him succeed quickly as a builder. He brought excellence and intensity to every project he tackled, both professionally and personally. David had a love for glass art, great enthusiasm for planting, growing, and enjoying fresh tomatoes, and a lifelong passion for cars. Over the years he became a proud collector of classic vehicles, some of which he refurbished by hand over many weekends spent tinkering in his cherished garage. He was quick with a joke, had robust conversations with the television (be it Jeopardy!, the Steelers, or the latest news), amused the household with his morning whistling and singing, and often left those around him also singing whatever song ran through his head. He loved his wife, his kids, and his grandkids with joy and a devilish sparkle in his eyes. He was a proud provider, a constant source of strength and toughness, and a remarkable example of the power of confidence and resilience. David leaves behind his wife of over 50 years, Terri; his children, Bryan (Nicole) and Kara (Jason Schmitz); and his beloved grandchildren, Peyton, Kaylyn, and Lilyan Harchuck and Maya and Liam Schmitz. David is also survived by his siblings, Barbara Reese, John Harchuck (Cheryl), and Valerie Harchuck (Tom Kelly). David was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Harchuck. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100), where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025.
