David J. Quicquaro, 55, of Greensburg, died Sunday, May 24, 2015, peacefully at home after a courageous one year battle with cancer. He was born May 30, 1959, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph A. and Susie Pistolesi Quicquaro. David loved his life's work at Craft Manufacturing in Latrobe, where he was president and CEO since 1982. He enjoyed his classic car collection, especially his 1967 Chevelle Supersport that he was currently restoring. He also enjoyed coin collecting, playing the spoons with his buddies and spending time taking long walks on the beach with his wife. He loved his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Joseph D. Fidazzo and Eric Barefoot. He is survived by his adoringand loving wife of 31 years, Caren B. (Barefoot) Quicquaro; two children, Ashley Quicquaro and Kyle Quicquaro, both of Greensburg; his only grandson, Kaleb Schmidt; a brother, Joseph Quicquaro and wife, Francine, of Westervile, Ohio; a sister, Carol Fidazzo, of Greensburg; in-laws, Carl and Shirley Barefoot of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Stormy. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of David from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724-837-0020). Prayers will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Our Lady of Grace Church.
