Debohra Diane "Debbie" (Miles) Wilson, 64, of Bullskin Township, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, in West Penn Hospital, surrounded by love after a valiant fight against leukemia. Debbie was born Nov. 11, 1951, the daughter of Ruth (Newcomer) and the late Clyde W. Caldwell Sr., of Bullskin Township. She graduated from Connellsville Area Senior High School in the Class of 1969. She achieved her degree as a licensed practical nurse from Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing in 1970. She began her nursing career at Latrobe Area Hospital before joining the office of Pediatric Associates of Latrobe where she worked for many years. Later, she became the administrator of CountrySide Rest Personal Care Home before taking her current position as a nurse in the Mt. Pleasant Area School District. Debbie never sat still for very long unless it was to read a book. She loved spending time in her flower gardens, her yard, at her pool or in the sun. She was an avid sports fan and she especially loved the Pittsburgh Penguins. She was a kind and giving soul and a wonderful friend to everyone she knew. She was an active member of Paradise United Methodist Church in Bullskin and gave back to the community through her commitment to the Bullskin Lioness Club, Bullskin Community Pool and parent organizations. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Wilson, whom she married Aug. 28, 1971; her children, Eric and wife, Parice, of Gambrills, Md., Heather, of Perryville, Mo., Brandon, of Brackenridge, and Brent and wife, Diane, of Bullskin Township; her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Bella and Nolan Wilson, of Gambrills, Md., Caleb, Joshua, Maria, Noah and Luke Peirick, of Perryville, Mo., and Donovan and Rocco Wilson, of Brackenridge; her grandpups, Seamus, Colt and Oakley; one sister, Melissa Fox and husband, James "Duck", of Bullskin Township; one brother, Clyde Caldwell Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Elliottsburg, Pa.; one brother-in-law, Michael Oldham and wife, Gloria, of Chambersburg, Pa.; nieces and nephews, Ryan Fitzpatrick and his wife, Janet, and children, Gavin and Rhys, of Rye, N.Y., Andrea Reynolds and her husband, William, and children, Skylar and Shannon, of Ho-Ho-Kus Township, N.J., Bryce Fox and his wife, Stephanie, and son, Owen, Corey Fox, Matthew Caldwell and his wife, Alexa, and daughters, Blakely and Italia, Li Ling Caldwell and Courtney Fox and her boyfriend, Jesse Eutsey, whom she loved like her very own. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Caldwell Sr., in 2015; her sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Edward Fitzpatrick; and her father and mother-in-law, Don and Helen Oldham.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville. The Bullskin Lioness Club will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Roger Howard officiating. Interment will follow at Scottdale Cemetery.
