Dennis P. King

Dennis P. King, 74, of Culmerville, West Deer Township, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. He was born Aug. 20, 1950, in Pittsburgh to the late Joseph A. and Bernice P. (Dennison) King. Denny grew up in Pittsburgh and was a 1968 graduate of South High School. He moved to West Deer in 1999, where he has lived for the past 26 years. Dennis was a maintenance worker at the Gulf Tower, Pittsburgh, for over 40 years, working as a carpenter and electrician. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish and attended the St. Victor Church campus. He also was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 86, where he served as past president, as well as being a life regular member of the Owl's Club, Russellton. Denny enjoyed tinkering on his motorcycle, cars, and all types of motors. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Joan B. (Sloan) King; his children, Lori J. King-Howells of Baldwin, Alisa M. (William) Wivell of Pittsburgh, Walter G. Eyerman III of West Deer Township, Deidre M. (Brian) Haines of Russellton, and Julie K. Eyerman of New Kensington; and four grandchildren, Christopher, Devin, Abigail, and Zoey. His siblings, Constance (Michael) Sabatini of Baldwin, Gary (Jackie) King of Washington, PA, and Cynthia (Frank) Kochanski of Ellicott City, MD. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael J. King. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where a blessing service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, with the Rev.
