Dolores T. (Laciak) Murdock, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. Born Feb. 4, 1930, in Wyano, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Lesko) Laciak. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a glass finisher/etcher at Lenox Crystal in Mt. Pleasant. She attended Visitation Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. Dolores was a member of the Kosciuszko Ladies Auxiliary. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will miss her binding presence in their lives. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Wayne" Murdock Sr., in 2006. Dolores is survived by her children, Joseph W. (Cindy) Murdock Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, Sharon Crock and Burt Riggi, of Latrobe, Michelle (Neil) Lamb, of Ponca City, Okla., Michael (Linda Raby) Murdock, of Fortuna, Calif., Mary Louise (Michael) Petrucci, of Confluence, Eunice Halfhill and David Flagg, of Wilmington, N.C., Marsha (Rodney) White, of Stahlstown; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Samuel (Anna Marie) Laciak, of Trauger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, 2245 Mt. Pleasant Road, Norvelt, PA 15674, where her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor David L. Greer officiating. Interment will be private.
