Doris A. Ganzy

1947 - 2020

Doris Ann Ganzy, 73, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, December 19, 2020, at her home. She was born July 7, 1947, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Frank and Ann Vice Margita. Doris was a member of St. Stephen's Church, North Huntingdon. She was a registered nurse working at Braddock, Mercy, Shadyside and Forbes hospital. At age 45, she enlisted in the Army and served our country during the Persian Gulf War as the second in charge of a burn unit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and one son, Michael. She is survived by one daughter, Anna Marie Gianfrancesco. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at JAMES W. SHIRLEY FUNERAL HOME, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Mt.
