Eileen Stevens Obituary

Eileen (Fatur) Stevens, 70, of Woodstock, Ill, formerly of White Valley, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. She was born May 11, 1944, in Greensburg, to Charles and Rose Fatur. Eileen loved her grandchildren and enjoyed life to its fullest. She was active as a Eucharistic minister and lector at Holy Apostles Church. Eileen was an avid bridge player, loved to play golf, tennis and enjoyed traveling the world. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Chuck Stevens; sons, Mark (Jay'me) Stevens and Craig (Lindsey) Stevens; grandchildren, Peyton and Madelyn Stevens; brother, Richard (Sharon) Fatur; and nieces, nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation and services were held in Crystal Lake, Ill. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass for Eileen that will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, in St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church, 497 Athena Drive, Delmont, with Father Bob Lubic, of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Connellsville, as celebrant. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Chapel committal services will be held in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, immediately followed by a gathering of family and friends at the Lamplighter Restaurant, 6566 William Penn Highway, Route 22, Delmont.
