Ellen Carosso Obituary

Ellen Franci Carosso passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at Bay Village Nursing Care, Sarasota, Fla. She was formerly of Murrysville. Prior to her retirement, she was an employee of Westinghouse Printing Division. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; sister, Lena Hermann and her husband, Ray; and brothers, Frank and his wife, Gene, and Alfred Franci. She is survived and will be lovingly missed her sister, Alma Howell Guckert, of Harrison City; stepdaughter, Jill Krater and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Tracy and Rob and their children, of Salisbury, Md.; also nieces, Nancy Armbrust and husband, Don, of Venice, Fla., Patti Kelly and husband, Tim, of Mars; sister- in-law, Marlene Franci; and several other nieces and nephews. Ellen will be remembered for her kindness and her caring of others, always having a smile when she saw you. Her passing will be a loss for all of us who knew and loved her. Her remains will be placed alongside her husband, Ray, at the Sarasota National Veterans Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla., at a later date. There will be a memorial service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Bee Ridge Presbyterian Church, Sarasota, Fla. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Bee Ridge Presbyterian Church, 4826 S. McIntosh Road, Sarasota, Fla.
