Esther W. Lenz

Esther W. Lenz, 83, of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Latrobe, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, in Williamsburg. She was born March 3, 1918, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late William and Mary Farabaugh Sweeney. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Latrobe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lenz, on Dec. 5, 2000; three brothers; and a sister. She is survived by two sons, Mark Lenz of Blairsville and Gary Lenz and his wife, Eleanor, of Williamsburg, Va.; a sister, Rita Macey of Latrobe; a sister-in-law, Ann Sweeney of Latrobe; three grandchildren, Esther, Gretchen and Anne; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church. Interment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
