Frances Kadylak

1927 - 2022

Frances (Slack) Kadylak, 94, of Harrison City, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022. She was born Nov. 30, 1927, to the late John and Mary (Darovitz) Slack and the wife of the late Michael P. Kadylak for 48 loving years. Frances was a lifelong member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church and was also a member of the Young at Heart Organization. She loved to spend her time playing bingo and playing cards with her loving family. She is survived by her children, Michael S. (Beverly) Kadylak, Ronald Kadylak and Teresa (Robert) Rinehart; grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon (Chris), Jonalyn (Mike), Nicholas, Timothy (Sohinee), Abigail, Matthew, Chelsea, Tyler (Natalie) and Dylan; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Alice. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Kadylak, and her siblings, John, Albert, Steffy, Mary, Olga and Mildred. Friends will be received at 9:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, in LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, for a rosary service. Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 a.m. in St. Barbara Catholic Church, 111 Raymaley Road, Harrison City, PA 15636. Burial will be in the St. Barbara Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the St. Barbara's Food Bank.
