Frank A. Perricelli

1930 - 2018

Frank A. Perricelli, 87, of Latrobe, passed away Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, surrounded by his family at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born June 4, 1930, in Latrobe, he was a son of the late Antonio and Antoinette (DeBone) Perricelli. Frank was an active member of Holy Family Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, the finance council, and was a longtime usher. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and operator of the former Eastwood Beer Distributor. He was a Marine Corps veteran having served proudly in the Korean era and was a member of various social clubs in the Latrobe area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tomasina Perricelli. Frank is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Ferlan) Perricelli, of Latrobe; a brother, Anthony M. Perricelli and his wife Anita, of Murrysville; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Ferlin, of Irwin, and Jenny Goodman, of Texas; nieces and nephews, Scott Perricelli and his wife Susan, Dr. Brett Perricelli and his wife Julie, Cara Zahn and her husband Tom, Francine Ferlin, Felicia Ferlin and her husband David Zabrowski, and Joann Goodman-Bentley; and great-nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Julia, Christopher, Sophia, Thomas, Olivia, Elizabeth, Natalie, Jenny and Jackie.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Members of the Rolling Rock Detachment of the Marine Corps League will hold a service at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Church with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
