Helen Moser Obituary

Helen M. Moser, 83, of Greensburg, died Friday, July 4, 2008, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born June 24, 1925, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Dorothy Stock McCauley. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Greensburg. Helen was a 1947 graduate of Allegheny College and received her master's in nursing from the Yale School of Nursing. She taught at the former Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing. In 1968, she was recognized by the Westmoreland Chapter of the American Red Cross for her many hours of volunteer work with the bloodmobile in the Greensburg area. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Wilbert M. McCauley Jr. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank H. Moser; a daughter, DoeDee Rennick, of Rochester Hills, Mich.; two grandsons, Mick Rennick and his wife, Sarah, and Marshall Rennick and his wife, Jaime; two great-granddaughters, Lily Jean and Margaret "Maggie" McCauley Rennick; and a sister, Alice M. Denney and her husband, George, of Washington, D.C. Friends will be received from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David L. Morse officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
