Helen Satulina Obituary

Helen C. (Seabol) Satulina, 94, of Latrobe, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Bethlen Home, Ligonier. She was born April 9, 1921, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Alex G. Seabol and Elizabeth (Sinkey) Seabol. Helen had attended Holy Family Church and St. Vincent Basilica and was a member of the Holy Family Rosary Society. She waitressed at the former Latrobe Restaurant and was an avid bingo player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Satulina; three brothers, Robert, Francis and Raymond Seabol; and one sister, Clara Seabol. Helen is survived by a daughter, Lynne M. Welshons, of Latrobe; one brother, James Seabol, of Florida; one sister, Betty Ashley, of Latrobe; one granddaughter, Alyssa Welshons; and she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Church with the Very Rev. Daniel C. Mahoney, VF, as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe.
