Henry Geiger

Henry Geiger, 74, of Greensburg, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Henry was a resident of Passavant Memorial Homes West Point House, which he shared with three longtime housemates. Henry enjoyed working at The Arc of Westmoreland and socializing, especially flea markets. He could often be found feeding peanuts to the birds and squirrels. He liked to smoke his pipe and drink his coffee. Henry kept the kitchen clean and orderly and considered that to be his domain. He is survived by his housemates and the staff of Passavant Memorial Homes, whom he considered his family. He is also survived by his dog, Princess Di. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, where services will be held immediately following visitation.
