James Klimchock Obituary

James P. "Bootie" Klimchock, 73, of Latrobe, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, in Loyalhanna Care Center, after a courageous four year battle with lung cancer. He was born July 15, 1938, in Hostetter, son of the late John and Ann (Homer) Klimchock. James was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, and was retired from Cement Masons Local No. 526. He was a member of the White Eagles Club, St. Joe's Club, Lloydsville Sportsmans Club and the 1st Ward Firemans Club. Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Charles Klimchock. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Annie (Patterson) Klimchock; daughter, Amy Falbo and husband, Ray; two sons, Jim Klimchock and Stephanie Smola, and Matthew Klimchock and wife, Suzie; four brothers, Richard Klimchock and wife, Marge, Joe Klimchock and wife, Mary, Gervase Klimchock, and Louis Klimchock and wife, Geraldine; sister, Catherine Yandrick; four grandchildren, Kacie, Kory, Kyle and Brennan Klimchock; in-laws, Pat and Jo Patterson, Brian Patterson and Jeff and Terri Patterson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Latrobe, with the Rev. Anthony Carbone as celebrant. Everyone is asked to please go directly to church. Interment is private. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Arnold Palmer Pavilion Cancer Center, Staff, and Excela Hospice.
