Janet L. Myers

Janet L. Myers, 80, formerly of Pleasant Unity, died Friday, May 30, 2025. She was born Nov. 15, 1944, in South Greensburg, a daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Silltenpole Delozier. She was a member of Word of Life Church, Greensburg. For many years, Janet operated a children's daycare in her home. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald A. Myers; and a sister, Hazel Harrold. Janet is survived by three children, Todd (Bonnie) Myers, of Latrobe; Tammy (Gary) Dudash, of Hunker; and Rebecca (William Stephen) Myers, of Forbes Road; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred Delozier, of Mt. Braddock, and Robert Delozier, of Jeannette; and three sisters, Dolores Altman, of Mt. Pleasant; Judy Coleman, of Seattle, WA; and Thelma Klingensmith, of Claridge. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the funeral home chapel. Private interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
