Jason Berkoben Obituary

Jason J. Berkoben, 48, of Ford City, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his residence. He was born Jan. 10, 1973, in Natrona Heights, to Cindy Cox Berkoben-Mechling and John Berkoben, who passed away Feb. 4, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a graduate of Thiel College in computer programming. He enjoyed horse races and determining their outcome, loved computer programming, spent his time with his faithful companion, Miles, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Cindy; maternal grandmother, Annie Cox, of West Kittanning; his brother, Chad Berkoben, of Kittanning; also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Cox; paternal grandparents, John and Sue Berkoben; and his aunt, Teena Aites. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., 701 Sixth Ave., Ford City, 724-763-9151. Interment will be in Ford City Cemetery.
